USE SOFT SCRUB WITHOUT BLEACH TO MAINTAIN THE BEAUTY OF THE PVC FRAME

USE GLASS CLEANER ONLY TO CLEAN GLASS, PURE ALCOHOL SHOULD NEVER BE USED TO CLEAN GLASS AS THIS MAY HARM THE GLASS UNIT

•  It is important that the hardware is cleaned whenever the glass and PVC are.

•  At least twice a year, lubricant should be applied to hardware to continue smooth and proper operation.

•  The first sign of corrosion should be removed without scratching the hardware. Lubricant should be applied immediately.

•  If you notice any loose screws, tighten them immediately without stripping the screw in the aluminum channel.

•  Once window is completely installed, installation dirt should be removed from PVC portions of your unit(s) using Soft Scrub without bleach. All installation remnants must be removed from all grooves in all units.

•  In the event the gasket “shrinks” or moves out of its groove, it should be reinserted by applying pressure to press it back into place. The gasket should be stretched around unit to close all gaps and meet up with the other end. Care should be taken to ensure that the gasket is properly inserted into corners and that at corners the gasket forms a 90 degree angle. This offers air tightness.

•  Most window units have screens held in place with plastic plungers. In the event it is necessary to replace a plunger, cut the damaged one loose. There is a spring in the hole in the aluminum screen frame. Insert new spring on plastic plunger shaft, then insert plastic plunger into hole in screen frame. Snap cap onto plunger shaft and check that plunger travels freely.
